Get set for mind blowing blues, country, hard rock and more as both bands serve new music plus a slew of high powered crowd pleasers from earlier releases! The Black Crowes are on the verge of dropping their new effort, A Pound of Feathers, this 2026. This new effort follows their exemplary work with 2024’s Happiness Bastards, a record breaking album that put the band out of a long hiatus. Meanwhile, Whiskey Myers dropped their latest album Whomp Whack Thunder last year. The terrific new album spawned phenomenal hits such as “Time Bomb” and “Tailspin.” Southall comes in as a support act and they too are serving a unique blend of southern rock and red dirt music, Oklahoma style.

They’re not called Happiness Bastards for nothing. This esteemed southern rock band led by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson had been around since the 80s. In the early 90s, they blew up with the release of Shake Your Money Maker. A hippie led group during a grunge dominated era, The Black Crowes were definitely a genre defying powerhouse during their prime. They delivered mega hits like “Hard to Handle,” “She Talks to Angels,” and “Jealous Again,” all making a killing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Black Crowes continued to dominate the circuit with their subsequent releases.
The Texas born six piece outfit came out with Road Life in 2008 but it wasn’t until their sophomore effort Firewater that they were able to break into the charts. The band came out with viral hits, including the platinum selling single, “Ballad of a Southern Man.” Soon enough, they were in the country music map, even topping the Top Country Albums chart in 2019 with their self-titled fifth album.
The Oklahoma born band comprises six members and released the hit single, “Rose Gold,” in 2021. The band opened for Blackberry Smoke in 2023 while promoting their self-titled fourth album.
