Country music duo Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, a.k.a. DAN + SHAY is kicking off a wild run of shows this fall, billed as ‘THE YOUNG TOUR.’ In support of their forthcoming album “Young,” As fans patiently wait for the record’s full release this summer, the band shared two new songs “Say So” and the title track, ahead of its official release. With plenty of promise, we’ve got amazing country bangers on our hands, a taste of their most personal album yet. Now, get ready for great nights of their classics, crowd favorites, deep cuts, and new music on stage.

For the tour, the band will see support from fellow country hitmakers, Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross.

It’s all about “Young.” Living it all up on the road, expect renewed hearts and fired-up spirits as Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney share their most personal and vulnerable work yet. While they’ll also get the ground shaking with their hits over the years, these nights are dedicated to an album that reflects on how far they’ve come, and that they’re still ‘young.’ 

They debuted “Say So” live on stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, proving why they deserve the ‘Duo of the Year’ nomination bid. As always, they pour their hearts out in every record, as the artists behind the Grammy Award-winning tracks “Tequila,” “Speechless,” and “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber. Through time, they’ve built a reputation for country music anthems that hit right home.

“Young” is Dan and Shay’s seventh studio album, where they touch on topics like mental health as they reflect on how far they’ve come, how they lived, and through it all — they are still ‘young.’ 

“Young is by far our most personal album yet, and we are beyond excited for our fans to hear it,” says Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. “Every song is inspired by a true story, and gives a real-time snapshot of exactly where we are in our lives.”

“For the last few years, or our last couple tours, I've dealt with a lot of anxiety and imposter syndrome and stage fright. I think being so honest and real with this album, it's allowed me to minimize the gap between who I am onstage and who I am offstage,” they told PEOPLE. 

Now, it’s all about authenticity. From their debut “19 You + Me” to the present day, a lot has happened and changed. Looking forward to sharing all the growth and new learnings they got through their careers, it’s gonna be a ride through the highs and lows.
