Well well well folks - you know what they say whenever we party on a Wednesday here in the middle of the city. Xfinity just stands for x-tra loud when we take the stand, especially when we’re screaming to our own versions of nostalgia - and some straight up massive nights to end the summer off proper. But ONLY when we have Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte coming here, right now! They’ve got a huge North American co-headlining tour coming to us on Wednesday August 12th - hitting some of the coolest amphitheatres and intimate stages across the country all summer long! From the Midwest to the Northeast, down through the South and all the way out west on the pacific coast, these two showstoppers are taking their catalogs on the road together: and trust us folks, this is one of those stops you don’t wanna miss. Avenged Sevenfold have been redefining modern metal since forming in Huntington Beach, California in 1999. Known for their explosive live shows, technical musicianship, and fearless evolution, the band broke through with albums like Waking the Fallen and City of Evil, delivering era-defining tracks like “Bat Country” and “Beast and the Harlot.” After the heartbreaking loss of drummer The Rev in 2009, the band pushed forward with Nightmare - which just so happened to debut at No. 1 and cemented their legacy from the get go, a decade into it all. Since then, Avenged Sevenfold have continued to take creative risks, blending metal, prog, and experimental rock into a sound that refuses to stand still. And then the other guys?? Good Charlotte brings an entirely different but equally powerful energy to the stage. Formed in Waldorf, Maryland in 1996 by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, the band became the voice of a generation in the early 2000s. With the release of The Young and the Hopeless, Good Charlotte exploded into the mainstream with anthems like “The Anthem,” “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous,” and “Girls & Boys.” Their music spoke directly to outsiders, dreamers, and kids figuring it out in real time — and decades later, those songs still hit just as hard. And lucky for us, we get to see it all here live!
