Breaking Benjamin started as a three-man band and released their first EP in 2001. The EP’s track “Polyamorous” was picked up by WBSX’s DJ Freddie Fabbri and is considered to be the band’s monumental breakthrough. Fabbri later helped with financing the band to make 2,000 EP copies, and sold out all the copies. In 2002, Breaking Benjamin signed a record deal with Hollywood Records and released their debut album “Saturate,” one of the most influential rock albums of all time and known to be the band’s mainstream breakthrough. The rock band released further three studio albums before they went on a break in 2010, due to Burnley’s health issues. Breaking Benjamin returned to recording in 2014 with a new lineup. The new group released their fifth album , “Dark Before Dawn,” in 2015 topped the albums charts at No.1 within the first hour of its pre-sale launch.
